Fethiye (Ovacik/Hisaronu)
Ovacik and Hisaronu nestle side by side on the plateau between the Mendos and Babadag Mountains, overlooking the Blue Lagoon. The lively village of Hisaronu is bustling with shops, bars and restaurants aplenty and is within a short dolmus journey of the beach at Oludeniz, Fethiye and the ghost town at Kayakoy.
It's neighbour Ovacik is a smaller quieter village which benefits from a refreshing breeze and slightly fresher climate and is a peaceful and relaxing spot, with a pretty collection of small hotels, apartments and villas plus a sprinkling of restaurants and shops. The views across the valley are breathtaking, as are the sunsets.
Hisaronu lies between Ovacik and Oludeniz and has an abundance of small hotels, restaurants, bars, shopping centres and offers a variety of other holiday activities. Easy transportation to Fethiye and Oludeniz is provided by a minibus (dolmus). It takes only 5 minutes to Oludeniz and 20 minutes to Fethiye from Hisaronu and Ovacik.
They are both very popular holiday destinations with many thousands of visitors coming back year after year. It is a very family orientated resort.
